Architectural cartel and its wall console, with inlaid brass decoration on a red-tinted tortoiseshell background in the first part, shells, fleurons, masks, foliage, fruit baskets, tendrils and scrolls. The ormolu dial is richly adorned with vases and foliage and features blue enamelled Roman numeral cartouches on a white background and a small cartouche signed "Martinot à Paris" (Martinot in Paris). The movement is signed "de Bourdainville à Paris". Ornamentation of formerly gilded bronzes such as scraps, Daphne masks, fire pots, foliage and claw feet. Under the dial, Apollo's chariot among clouds. Louis XIV period (Accidents and restorations, missing pieces, some bronzes brought back, modified suspension). H : 93 cm.
