*Group in Chinese white, representing the Hoho brothers on a knot of flowers and lotus scrolls, one seated letting a bat escape from a box (Wufu Hehe) symbolizing happiness, the other standing figure holding a lotus leaf. It bears two marks on the back of each character: Marque De Hua 德化 and Bo Ji Yu Ren 博及魚人. China, late 19th century H: 34 cm. Restorations to the large leaf, the thumb of the right hand of the large subject is missing. Grain on the lotus leaf on the left side of the base. Two chips on the lotus leaf on the right on the base. It rests on a gilded wooden base.
