Very soon he was considered as the French jeweller exporting the most pieces of high jewellery. In November 1985, he sold his company to a group of American investors but continued to work until the company closed. In September 1988, he reopened at 16 avenue Montaigne under the name Louis GERARD, Joaillier International, until December 1991. His creations are exceptional for the quality of the gems, the complexity of the volumes and the delicacy of the manufacturing. He conceives the jewel as an entity, the complete set is always at the center of his creations.
