Regency style chest of drawers, opening with two drawers on two rows separated by a crossbar, made of rosewood veneer in amaranth frames. The uprights with sharp edges rest on cambered feet (cracks, missing veneer, restored marble top). Stamped twice DUFOUR and punch of the Jurande des Menuisiers Ebénistes. Louis XV period. Brown marble top from Flanders with a corbin beak. (Cracks, splits in the veneer and chips in the marble). It is probably Charles-Joseph Dufour, cabinetmaker received master in Paris on December 3, 1759.
