Circular pedestal table in mahogany veneer resting on a triangular base, the pyramidal shaft with concave faces. Ornamentation in bronze with a medal and gilded patina composed of three griffins, the front ones posed on a base in the form of a plinth. Grey granite top. Empire style, composed of old elements. H. 85 cm. Diameter : 118,5 cm. This pedestal table is very close to the one from the Count Walewski collection (Paris, April 20, 1932, lot n° 245). The scalloped shape of the base is identical, as well as the decoration of griffins, with spread wings and a tail ending in a scroll.
