A certificate from Madame Christine ABBOUD will be given to the purchaser.
Madame Christine ABBOUD has a dated preparatory model in her studio, with the following comment on the back: "esquisse pour un collage mural exécuté chez Eliane Kaufholz" ("sketch for a mural collage executed at Eliane Kaufholz's").

Collection of Madame Eliane Kaufholz Messmer and Monsieur Roland Messmer.
Eliane Kaufholz Messmer was a dear friend of Abboud's from the 1960s onwards.
This friendship continued after Eliane married Roland Messmer.
Shafik Abboud remained a close friend of the couple, and of the dinners and quartet concerts held in the Avenue de Wagram apartment. The "Mur pour Eliane,
Mur à rêver" adorned one wall of the grand salon.
